Parish Pichl

Schladming-Pichl

In the year 1258 a small church was mentioned for the first time in a document at the former court of the monastery St. Peter (Salzburg). Until 1762 it was a branch of the mother church house, then it became vicariate of house.

In 1766 the church was built in its present form with the patronage of St. James the Elder (Feast: 25 July) as a nave with rococo furnishings.
