Filzmoos - Ennstal Road Bike Route

From the Tauernstraße, turn left and climb towards Forstau. After descending into the valley, the route follows the Enns Cycling Path, partially on gravel, through Schladming, Untere Klaus, Lehen, and on to Weißenbach.
The route then climbs via Rössing towards Ramsau Ort but turns left shortly before reaching the village, leading back to the Ramsau Tourist Office.

The tour starts at the Ramsau Tourist Office and passes through the village of Ramsau am Dachstein. Following the picturesque road beneath the Dachstein, with stunning views of its south face, the route continues to Filzmoos. It then follows the Fritzbach to Eben im Pongau, Altenmarkt, and Radstadt.
On the Tauernstraße turn left and climb toward Forstau. At the base of the Enns River, turn right and follow the path toward Schladming. The Enns Cycling Path, with its well-maintained gravel sections, takes you through Schladming, then via Untere Klaus to Lehen, passing the Hauser Kaibling valley station.
After crossing under the B320, you reach Weißenbach and climb toward Rössing. From there, the route continues toward Ramsau Ort. Just before reaching the village, turn left and return to the starting point at the Ramsau Tourist Office.
From Salzburg: Take the A10 to Altenmarkt, then follow the B320 towards Liezen. Exit at Ramsau am Dachstein and turn left onto Ramsauerstraße. After 8 km, you will reach the Tourist Office.
From Graz: Take the A9 to Liezen, then follow the B320 towards Schladming. Exit at Ramsau am Dachstein and turn right onto Ramsauerstraße. After 8 km, you will arrive at the Tourist Office.
Take the train from Radstadt or St. Michael to Schladming. At Schladming train station, transfer to bus line 960 heading towards Ramsau Ort. Get off at the "Ramsau Kulm" stop. The Ramsau am Dachstein Tourist Office is just a one-minute walk from there.
- Always wear a helmet and appropriate clothing.
- Stick to designated and marked trails only.
- Pay attention to traffic at intersections and road crossings! Be considerate and give way when necessary.
- Control your speed on downhill sections!
- Respect the environment—leave no trash or waste in the mountains.

The Right Bike: a road bike or gravel bike is recommended.
Breakdowns can happen - but rarely at the doorstep of one of the numerous service points: a basic kit of tools and accessories therefore never hurts! Spare inner tube and/or repair kit, universal spanner, air pump, brake and shift cable, as well as a screwdriver can never hurt.
