The tour

The loop starts at the Hauser Kaibling valley station and first leads through Weißenbach, passing the Flatzerhof and Pircherhof onto the Firstweg. The route continues through Birnberg Oberdörfl, past Timmelbauer, and onto the Strimitzweg.

After a long climb through Rössing and past the Alte Mühle, take a right turn onto the Gabäckerweg shortly after the parking area. This leads to the Silberkarklamm before continuing via the Rössingweg. After passing the Burgstaller holiday settlement, turn left up to Storn Alm.

The Storn Alm is not serviced but offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Schladming-Dachstein region. After a well-deserved break, the route descends via Gsengwand, Burgstaller, and Passeck back to Weißenbach, before returning to the starting point at Hauser Kaibling valley station.
